We are back in our Exploring Doral series. Today, we’re talking about Vanderbilt Park – a neighborhood in Doral for people who don’t have any Homeowner Associations and limitations to rule them.
This community is one of the oldest area found in the City of Doral, continuing to develop over the years. It’s located close to the heart of the beautiful city of Doral that is only 7 miles away from Miami International Airport and 13 miles away from Miami.
Initially, Vanderbilt Park was considered a way of getting away from the glamorous Miami. Many lots were sold to many people, so they built their weekend breaks homes, these homes didn’t even have municipal water lines!
By the mid-seventies, the community broadened with more comfy homes and started selling the properties for permanent living. The major change came after municipal water lines were connected and real estate investments gradually rose. Vanderbilt Park is a comfortable and peaceful community to live in that boasts a unique style.

In terms of interior living space, homes in Vanderbilt Park range between 1804 and 4792 square feet, and the average total lot size is less than 0.25 acres.
In the last 90 days, the median price for homes sold is a little over $1million. Vanderbilt Park community is for people of families who don’t want to have associations.
In this community, you won’t have that issue. This is one of the very few communities in Doral without a homeowners association.
